Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 83 runs. Pakistan restricted Sri Lanka to 209/8 while chasing 293 in Dubai. Rumman Raees gave Pakistan the early breakthrough after removing Niroshan Dickwella early in the innings while Hasan Ali too played a vital role after he struck twice in the same over. He was though denied the hat-trick but the right-hander returned with figures of 3/36 in 9 overs. For Sri Lanka, it was Lahiru Thirimane and Akila Dananjaya who showed some resistance as both the players notched up their individual half-centuries but their efforts went in vain as Pakistan took the lead in five-match ODI series.
