Just because she is now an official adult, it doesn’t mean Chloe Moretz can’t channel her inner princess for a day.
The young star posted an picture of her wearing a fluffy pink tiara as she celebrated turning 18 on Tuesday.
She captioned the snap: ‘So.. I’m 18.. Wearing an 18 tiara.’
Her hairstylist Gregory Russell also posted birthday wishes.
‘Happy 18th Birthday to my gal pal @chloegmoretz I love you to the moon and back little baby!’
British Vogue took the opportunity to post a flashback photo of Chloe ten years ago at a film premiere.
And at that young age, she was already a star in the making as she looked completely comfortable and at ease in front of the cameras wearing a pink gown and flashing her bright smile.
The caption read: ‘Chloe – then eight-years-old – at the premiere of The Amityville Horror, one of her first film roles.’
And a decade later, Chloe’s career is certainly still going strong.
The young Georgia native recently took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic Actress for her role in If I Stay, a film based on the novel by Gayle Forman.
Chloe plays Mia, whose world is turned upside down when a horrific car crash kills her family and leaves her in a coma, forcing her to make the decision to allow herself to pass on, or stay alive and deal with tragedy.
Her career in fashion continues to go from strength to strength as well, as she was recently unveiled as the new face of Coach’s Dreamers campaign.
Most recently the actress has been working on the movie The Fifth Wave due out January 16.
She will also star in the upcoming adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s Dark Places, and the film November Criminals.
Last Friday, the young star was seen at the upscale Andy LeCompte Hair Salon in Los Angeles.
Chloe went for casual comfort in a slouchy grey top and ripped distressed jeans.
